My name is Emily Becherer. Reader, writer, thinker. Drinker of tea, lover of grammar, admirer of beauty.
More specifically, I am a senior at Benedictine college majoring in English and mass communications with an emphasis in journalism. I am the managing editor of The Circuit, Benedictine’s student newspaper. This summer I returned to my hometown to work as an editorial intern for a brokerage firm in the St. Louis area.
I fancy myself an organizer of information. From time to time my own thoughts pile up and I am compelled to arrange them into something readable. A place for everything and everything in its place–with a healthy dose of creative variation, of course.
My other interests include music, baking and cooking, driving at night with the windows down, and trying to grow flowers and vegetables in the back yard. Most of all, I strive to find the beauty and meaning in what the world has dealt.
